Fundraising for Children of the World

So why are doing all this? TEAMMC partnered with Muslim Charity to support their Children of the World campaign. It is dedicated to changing the lives of vulnerable children across the globe for the better. With millions of children across Pakistan, Bangladesh, Kenya, Palestine and beyond living on the streets, exposed to abuse, trafficking, and exploitation, this initiative focuses on providing shelter, education, and psychosocial support to help them envision a brighter future.

In Pakistan, the campaign has rescued children from hazardous labour conditions, providing safe havens for learning and growth. In Bangladesh, efforts like transitional shelters and informal ‘schools under the sky’ have brought education to street children since 2014. Meanwhile, in Kenya’s Kibera slum, Muslim Charity has improved schools to create a nurturing learning environment. And in Palestine, initiatives have enhanced educational opportunities through the provision of modern computer labs.

By participating in the Land’s End to John O’Groats Charity Cycle Ride, you are directly supporting the Children of the World campaign. Your efforts contribute to rescuing children from dangerous situations and providing them with the tools they need for a better, brighter future. Every mile you cycle is a step towards empowering these children to break free from poverty and vulnerability.
